Heritage Park Senior Apartments
I made the mistake of moving to this dump in 2024, after moving from Finisterra On The Lake.
What a dissappointment!
Sadly, this was the only place that called back when I mentioned I had a 100 pound German Shepherd and I was Self Employed (barely – still struggling with no job or steady income).
A couple days after I moved in, the main water pipe for the fire sprinklers broke. My unit was located to the right of the door on the right side of the photo below. My unit was flooded about 4 to 5 feet in across the living room, kitchen, bathroom and walk-in closet. The person inspecting the units said my unit was still livable and I didn’t need to relocate.
It took over a month to make repairs to the main hallway. My unit was finally in what I considered to be “livable” after about 2 months. I had to move boxes back and forth between rooms to accomodate the contractors. Apparently they only fix one item at a time to all of the units and they were obviously paid by the hour…
I started coughing up really ugly phlegm and had even uglier boogers after the flood. I checked the air filter and found a brown moldy filter – ran to the hardware store, got a new filter and installed it that day. I figured if I’d asked the management company to take care of it would take a month to fix.
I got to enjoy the white noise of the big yellow fan blowing in my apartment for what seems like forever. The white noise was relaxing and enjoyed by the neighbors on the other side of the building.
