I miss my home

Around the middle of October 2011, I walked away from a house I’d purchased in Mission Viejo just before Christmas of 2005.

The rear wall of the house had moved away from the interior ceramic tile and carpeting by about an inch in the almost 6 years I’d lived there.

I looked into repairs for the movement, but it was going to require a large investment in land surveys and construction.

I chose to let the house go into foreclosure and walked away.

I was stupid enough to have put down 20% of the $580,000 price tag ’cause that’s what stupid people like me do.

I could have listed the house for sale but I didn’t want someone else to end up on the same situation – I’m a strong believer in karma after daily lessons from the universe during this current incarnation.

I rented a waterfront condo on Mission Viejo Lake in the Finisterra on the Lake condominium complex.

I really enjoyed living there and made lots of new friends.

I had a German Shepherd that I walked along the lake in the complex 3 times a day – A tired dog is a good dog.

I got to meet a lot of the people that lived in the watefront units and a lot of other dog people.

All was good…
